The division for 3D modeling and rendering of prototypes and finished products started about a year ago as a start-up within Gab, the company of the Group based in Campi Bisenzio that is specialized in leather goods.
An innovative Group
Conceived with the dual objective of efficiency and sustainability, the project in fact makes it possible to share, with all Group companies and end customers, information about the different stages of garment development and progress. All this is done without the need to actually make a physical prototype, minimizing the use of material resources and environmental impact.
Thanks to the generation of a QR code, which can be shared via a simple link, garments can be viewed in Augmented Reality (AR). The end result offers an extremely high level of detail, including metal accessories and any other type of material (e.g., different fabrics), faithfully recreating their aesthetic and physical properties down to the smallest detail.
“Being able to provide luxury fashion houses with a high value-added service and make the supply chain more sustainable is what drives HModa to continue investing in innovation, looking with interest at the main trends taking place in the world of fashion-applied technologies and their developments. The new division falls perfectly within the framework of the Group’s strategic initiatives for the future: new and efficient services to further improve the work of all our companies. For this reason, we have chosen to invest in an ad hoc division, composed of young talents, with a background closer to the world of graphics and information technology, to continue to innovate our approach to the tradition of Made in Italy”.
