BORO MINI DRESS

Black denim based on Project research is combined with a patchwork of patterned woollen cloths in classic black and white drapery style. PuntoArt stitches the pieces together using the traditional Japanese “boro” technique. The joined, stitched pieces of material are then sent back to Project, where they are assembled into a classic denim mini dress.
Finally, the dress is washed and manually ripped in specific spots that reveal the balance between denim and drapery.
